TATTOO AFTERCARE
Leave your bandage on for 1-3 hours (make sure that you are in a sanitary environment wth clean running water when you remove it)
Do not re-bandage
After removal of bandage, wash with warm water and unscented antibacterial soap or a specialized tattoo soap
Pat dry with with a paper towel and allow to air-dry thoroughly
Apply a thin layer of product (preferably a specialized tattoo aftercare ointment or Aquaphor) and massage into the skin. You want it to be lightly moisturized and able to breath in the air
Make sure that you keep your tattoo clean with warm water and soap as needed throughout the day
Repeat this process for 2-4weeks
During the healing process: no sun, no swimming pools, no ocean, no scratching or picking of scabs
Make sure your hands are thoroughly cleaned before any contact with your tattoo
PIERCING AFTERCARE
Most piercings will bleed at first, gentle pressure on or around the newly pierced skin will help slow any bleeding
Most/all pierced regions will swell, and the item of jewelry you have inserted should accommodate the swelling
Always make sure your hands are thoroughly cleaned before any contact with or handling of the newly pierced site
Avoid unnecessary touching, scratching, or picking of the newly pierced site to avoid infection use a specialized piercing aftercare spray as directed for the duration of the healing time (varies with piercing)
Avoid swimming, soaking in water for prolonged periods, and tanning
Do not use alcohol or any other antiseptic than the ones recommended
